Survey Prisms are used by surveyors to monitor and measure the change in position of a target that has the potential to move over time. Typical applications where survey prisms are used include:  rail monitoring, settlement monitoring, displacement monitoring, deformation monitoring and convergence monitoring. The survey prism reflects the Electronic Distance Measurement beam of a total station back to the station with high precision.
