Rebar Drivers

Our rebar drivers are constructed to prevent mushrooming and splitting at the end of reinforcing steel bars, making these pounders the ideal survey stake tool for surveyors who need to use rebar as a survey marker when coupled with a survey cap. SURV-KAP Rebar Drivers are constructed from hardened steel and make driving rebar posts to the desired depth problem-free. Plus, this rebar driver tool helps bevel the top of the bars to facilitate better installation of our aluminum caps with plastic inserts.

We recommend before using any rebar pounder, you inspect the reinforcement steel bars first to ensure they don't have any projecting longitudinal ribs. Doing this eliminates the need for grinding before attaching a cap to the bar. When using a rebar stake driver, remember to ensure there's enough metal bar to install your preferred survey marker.  Alternatively, you can follow the example of some surveyors and pre-install the survey marker before using the rebar post driver to drive the entire assembly into the ground with a dead-blow hammer.  Our rebar post pounder selection includes 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4" sizes and are great for marking corners and other survey and boundary marking applications.
